Last week, Jaclyn, Miren and Johan attended the KI Liver Academy conference, organized by Karolinska Institutet, at the scenic Djurönäset. This event brought together researchers -including both basic and clinical research- for a two day meeting of research updates, discussions, and networking.
Jaclyn and Miren presented their current projects to an engaged audience!!
The keynote speaker, Professor Antonio D’Alessio from Imperial College London, presented “An update on the current treatment landscape of HCC.” His presentation provided an overview of the progress made in treating hepatocellular carcinoma.
It was great to meet up with colleagues working on related topics, exchange ideas, and hearing about the all the progress being made within the liver research field.
