After two fantastic years in the Ankarklev Lab, Elena has concluded her projects and will soon embark on a journey towards a master’s degree!
Elena joined the lab for an internship in 2021 and wrote her bachelor’s thesis on the topic ofPlasmodium falciparum transmission. The additional year where she worked as a research assistant helped her tremendously further her skills in cell and molecular parasitology. Her work has been outstanding and immensely valuable for several of the projects in the group, especially for the Transmission team. We are all very excited to follow her future journey!!
